Hi, I’m Chloe, creator of avec joie. My jewelry studio started as a cute little rolling cart in my dining room in Richmond, Virginia. I began making jewelry as gifts for family & friends, and the therapeutic calm I feel during the creative process decided for me that I should keep making pieces for you and your family & friends. What does “avec joie” mean? A quick Google will tell you that in French it means “with joy”. I’ll tell you what it means to me. On a Tuesday in September almost ten years ago, the first light of my life was born. To meet her tiny pink face was the purest joy, and so she was named Joie Rose. My little rose finds the sunshine in every day and has flowered into one of the most incredible artists I know. Joie loves crafting and helping me choose elements for my designs. The pieces I present to you are made both with joy and often with Joie, and always influenced by her bright spirit - inspiring the name you see here. When you put my jewelry on, I hope you can’t help but greet the moment after avec joie.
